IMG_5647[1]of the lives of the young children in our care.  Paradigm Educational Center is the dream of two people that possess a love for both children and learning.  With a deep appreciation of the Montessori method of education and the first hand knowledge of what it can do for children.  Having a combined over 50 years of experience in a Montessori setting, we have combined this experience with a desire to reach out to ALL children.

Established in August 2008, Paradigm Educational Center is dedicated to the mission of meeting the needs of the whole child in an orderly, individualized learning environment that encourages development in the following areas:

  • Intellectual
  • Social
  • Spiritual
  • Psychological
  • Physical

Just the Facts

  • Children work in an environment that is designed with them in mind.
  • Children are encouraged to work at their own pace, realizing this is the best way to lengthen attention spans and allow the child to define their inner work cycle.
  • Children are encouraged to be responsible for themselves and their environment.
  • Children are encouraged to challenge themselves to try new things.
  • Children are encouraged to learn from observation of others
  • Paradigm Educational Center is different from other child care providers and preschools because we emphasize. development through all five senses using the Montessori method of learning.
  • The materials within the classroom are starting blocks to the child’s development.

All material is taught to the children on a one on one basis at each individualized pace. Teachers carefully observe each child’s development and engage the child in learning activities with materials that are tailored to the child’s developmental level. The teacher is there not to teach the child, but to direct them; to never discourage, but to always encourage. The classrooms here at Paradigm are non-competitive so your child can learn when they are ready to learn a specific item in the classroom.
